Help us help our mom

My family and I are trying to raise up enough money to help our mom and dad. My mom has been out of work for almost 2 months. It all started out with her testing positive for Covid, then she ended up with bronchitis. She does have COPD and this made the situation worse. A week ago, she felt something coming up on her bottom. We thought it was a boil and she needed it cut so she went to Cannon. They told her they couldnt cut it open because it wasnt ready. They gave her an antibiotic and sent her home! 2 days later she called her doctor because she was unable to sit down without being in severe pain. The doctor sent her straight to Easley hospital. When she arrived they sent her straight for emergency surgery. She had an absess under the skin which was very badly infected! While under anesthesia her lungs had a spasm which caused her to be put on a ventilator. She was then transported to Greenville Memorial. She is there now but she is finally off the ventilator but she is still having alot of trouble breathing. Shes also had two surgeries and shes in need of more! The infection she has is called necrotizing fasciitis. Before shes able to come home we have to get her a hospital bed, wheel chair, ramp, etc.  My mom does have health insurance but since shes been out of work, my parents are having to pay for her insurance out of pocket. They are stuggling to do this and the last thing my parents need is to worry about anything other then my mom coming home and being healthy! My mom has been a CNA for many years and has cared for ALOT of people in her lifetime. One thing we refused to do was allow her to be put into a nursing home because she needs 24/7 care when she comes home so we have all agreed to help my mom at home. But we need help with getting everything ready and to keep her insurance. We are in the process of trying to get her medicaid and medicare. and Also hopefully disability.
