Help for Abigail

Little Abigail is a gorgeous vibrant 5 year old who like most kids, loves life, loves school and loves her family and friends.  Unfortunately Abby was a bit unlucky when she was born and came into the world a massive 13 weeks too soon. Although Abby has fought through all the hurdles thrown at her due to her prematurity so far, for the past year she has had some life threatening struggles with Asthma.

Abigail has been admitted to hospital 9 times in the last 12 months due to her asthma and during one of these visits she crashed and had to be intubated on a ventilator to get her airways open again.

Abby's long hospital stays take a financial toll on her parents Amanda and Shannon. They have both had to use up their Annual Leave and Long Service leave to be by her side as well as incredible daily costs just to park their car at the hospital. This along with the ongoing medications needed for Abby come at a large expense for this family.

I want to set up this page to try and raise a bit of money to help Abigail, Amanda and Shannon. It won't take away the pain they watch their little girl go through but it may take away the strain of the other burdens which they don't need to carry.

Any additional funds raised which aren't needed for Abigail's medical expenses or household expenses will be donated to the Children’s Hospital to assist other families in need.
