Help Robert's Family This Holiday

I met Robert and some of his family while doing interviews at a Thanksgiving outreach in South Toms River this past weekend.
I was stunned and heartbroken when I learned that Robert , his wife marlene, and their 8 children had just been evicted two days prior to my meetign them. He works as a contractor, but the company he worked for closed down, and he wa not able to find consistent work. I was able to find a phone number for his wife after I made the initial post about their story.
She shared that they are living two-days-at-a-time in different hotels currently thanks House of Hope. But they have no idea where they will get longterm housing from. They have no kitchen and have been eating out every dya to sustain ther children, he older children only have two outfits, no washer and dryer, and their funds are nearly depleted. Social services *may* get them food stamps in ten days, but they have a waiting period to go through.
The funds will go directly to food, clothing, health maintence, and temorary housing with a kitcehn until they can get back on their feet. Robert as of this moment has several job offers after this evening's post, I am thankful to say.
Portraits of the Jersey Shore -founder Gregory Andrus specifically - is putting this fundraiser together, and takes full responsiblity to making sure they get the funds. It is our hope that we as a Jersey Shore community can help this family and their 8 children get through this very bleak time. This can be a very happy ending, if we can all pitch in.
