Barry Douglas Expenses/Rehab

Friends, family and dancers, I have created this fundraising page to help Barry meet his expenses as he undergoes a double hip replacement.  Almost unheard of in the medical community to do both hips at once, Barry convinced the surgeons to make it happen to shorten his rehabilitation period.  As a full-time professional dance instructor, if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid.  He doesn't get paid sick days nor does he have disability insurance.  We know that he will be unable to work for at least two months, yet his bills need to be paid.  Additionally, he will be faced with medical bills to pay for what his insurance won't cover.  He has been beloved in the dance community for nearly 40 years.  In that time, he's touched thousands of lives through his classes, workshops, performances and friendships.  I pray that you can help to support him at this critical time in his life.   Any donation will help him tremendously.  And if you can't donate now, please help us by sharing this message to as many people as you can.
