Get home to mom

Hi my name is Marc and my family needs your help

 

We just set off on a 2600 mile journey from Washington to Ontario Canada to take care of my mother and her home as she can no longer walk or take care of the house because of her herniated spine.

 

We did not make it out of Washington before the truck we purchased for the express purpose to make the move broke down 150 miles from what used to be our home. We have nowhere to return to and all our lives and personal belongings in a truck on the side of the road.

 

The engine seems to have gone completely and the truck won’t stay on. We almost lost control as the brakes did not work properly without engine power

 

My wife is a trauma survivor and has extreme anxiety and she was so brave to agree to make this move to help my mom. the process of packing up her entire life and giving up a lot just to fit everything in the moving truck has been very hard for us all.

 

We need funds to cover a uhaul truck to Canada ($4000)

and funds to properly tow and store broken down truck and repair it ($2000)

A plane ticket for my wife because she cannot handle the stress of the journey and so she can take care of my mother. ($0 she’s staying with us!)

 

We are pleading for your help so we can finish our trip and make it home to my mother.

 

If you know any tow truck operators that can tow a gmc 3500 box truck or do roadside repairs. We cannot finish the journey in this truck as it seems to also lack the suspension needed for the load. Around vantage/wenatchee 

 

We were able to get a place to stay for tonight and we have some camping supplies but it’s cold for even our dogs.
