DUSTRIDER EX - Indie Video Game

I am a completely self-taught and solo game developer. It has been my dream for as long as I can remember to make a living doing something that I'm both good at and have a huge passion for. I continue to learn and develop and would love to have the help of other passionate supporters along the way.

DUSTRIDER EX is my very first game that I am displaying publicly. You can find the description and a link to play the game on my website by clicking here . I initially released a very early-stage version on Newgrounds back in December 2016 and to date, that version has received over 12,000 views. Further progress was put on hold for a long time but not forgotten. I have been on leave for the last week and a half and spent my time doing an update overhaul that is going live today, March 7th 2018. I will have to start slowing my progress due to work obligations, unless I can get some support from you wonderful humans!

I have a lot of future update ideas for DUSTRIDER EX that I would love to spend time incorporating. I'd like to create a use for the exp that you collect, namely a leveling system for your pilot's weapons and your mech. I'd like to draw and animate more reptilian spacelord bosses and an expanded variation of enemies. I'd also like to stage a bit of a story-mode through the first levels to help new players understand the gameplay mechanics. Of course by story-mode I mean NPCs, cutscenes, the whole shebang. So far, I want to show you what I can do and where I think I can take my skills. I have created every piece of this game alone, from the music to the code. All I need is more time to devote to developing an amazing game that you'll want to spend as much time playing as I've spent making it!
