<div>In the Spring of 2024, Dustin Stuhr was diagnosed with A.L.S. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a neurological disease that causes the degeneration of motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord.

<div>Dustin worked for 27 years as a teacher of students with emotional disabilities at TST Boces, but was forced to retire as a result of his diagnosis. Dustin and his family have fought hard and heroically these many months to overcome the rapidly surmounting financial and practical challenges of losing his physical ability to maintain his home, daily life, and afford the enormous costs of the care he needs.
