April 3, 2018 around 0725 our spunky, energetic, and full of life Dustin was involved in a motorcycle accident on his way to work.
Dustin was rushed to UMC Trauma hospital where he currently remains while healing. Dustin has been diagnosed with a broken wrist and a brain injury that has left his wife (Lacey) and 2 children (C [8] and L [4]) with the only answers of this will take a minimum of several months for Dustin to heal and recover and for family and friends to have full knowledge of how Dustin will be temporarily or permanently affected by this accident.
Dustin has worked hard all of his life to provide for his family and give them a wonderful life that allows them to have fun together and also thrive and flourish in whatever city/state the U.S. Air Force brings them to. That being said, it is unknown what possible expenses may go uncovered due to Dustin being out of work for an unknown amount of time.
The last thing a family needs in a time of trauma is a concern of how bills will be paid. We have set a lofty goal just based on how much is truly unknown in terms of how and what will be needed for Dustin and his family while he recovers and after recovery. Everybody is understanding that today is a very trying time for many families financially and we do not expect donations however what you may feel in your heart to be a feasible donation is not unappreciated and will certainly go towards helping an amazing family alleviate even the most minimal amount of stress during this time.
