At the age of 5, Dustin Wurdeman and his family discovered he had Alpha 1 Anti-Trypsin Defincency- a liver deficiency that resulted in Dustin receiving a liver transplant from his father.
Now, at the age of 31, Dustin is fighting for his life again. In the early morning hours of January 6, 2018, Dustin was brought to the local hospital for severe abdominal pain. Dustin was septic and it was decided that he would be flown to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for further treatment.
Upon arrivial, it was discovered Dustin had a clot in his portal vein. He was admitted to the ICU where he is currently undergoing treatment for the clot.
Dustin is a husband and father to two boys ages 10 and 4. We ask for prayers for the family and any finacial support would be greatly apperciated! We will update this page as we hear more over the coming days. Thank you for your support!
