Dustin Schlien Medical

On October 9th Dustin Schlien decided to go in and get an MRI as he was having repeated headaches this summer and fall. Unsure of the reason it was discovered that he had a brain tumor. He was then scheduled for surgery and until they were able to test a portion of the tumor it was unknown if it was cancerous. The surgery went well but unfortunately the test results came back showing the tumor was bad news. The decision was made to have another surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. This second surgery was more dangerous as the surgeon needed to remove as much of the tumor as possible and get closer to the brain than he wanted too the first time based on the fact they knew the tumor was cancerous. After the second surgery there were some complications with swelling, bleeding, and excess fluids building up. In total Dustin has had 5 brain surgeries in the past couple weeks. Dustin is currently in the St Cloud Hospital.

We please ask that you help Dustin get through this terrible time period. The hospital bills are compiling and although Dustin has good insurance there is still a large portion of the medical bills that will need to come out of his pocket. At this time it is unknown when he will be able to return to work again.

Dustin has two children that need to be financially supported at this time as well. Dustin has a very strong family and they are helping in every way possible. He is in a very tough spot and we need your help.

There is still a lot yet to be determined and he is in the early stages of this terrible disease. Please pray for the well-being of Dustin’s family, his friends, and most of all for Dustin himself.
