Terminal Mom of 7

I was diagnosed with S4 Cervical Cancer in May 2017. I am terminal.

When I was about to be diagnosed. I thought I just had a UTI, that year came back negative. Then I had an ultrasound. Immediately I could see there was a mass of some sort. The doctors then had me see a specialist to see if it was bladder cancer. That was negative. I then saw my OB/GYN, my tumor was too large for him to get a sample. I then went and had a biopsy done on my neck as a scan showed tumors there. And I had my port put in, that is for chemo, blood draws. Within two weeks the tumor in my bladder grew from a baseball size to a basketball size. I was called at work, I’ll never forget it. They had it was a fast growing tumor and I had to be in Boise the next morning (5 hr drive). I was shocked and didn’t even have money to go. But some lovely nurses came together and got us gas and food money. They had seen the scans and knew it was urgent. Basically, we were on borrowed time. I could die any day. I had further testing at St. Luke’s in Boise, ID. Which was by far the most excruciating pain I’ve ever had. My oldest daughter was there with me the whole way. I cannot even explain how much she had to grow up in those moments and took charge immediately.

Upon returning home, once we got all the tests and scans, I started aggressive chemo. 6 months or so. I also had two toddlers to care for. They turned 1 & 2 right before I was diagnosed.

Very long story short. I am sick, all the time, in pain, tired. But I try to do everything I can each day. On top of anxiety and depression. I don’t expect hand outs or anyone feeling sorry for me. I try to keep my thoughts positive for my family. I have 7 kids (23,22,20,18,16,3,2) and 4 grandchildren (4,2,1,2).

I have already underwent chemo and radiation. At the beginning I was losing so much blood, I had about 15 transfusions over a two month period. My cancer is spread throughout my body. I am terminal, yet living each day as I can. I have chronic pain and unable to work now. I have 7 children as well as 4 grandchildren. 2 of them are still home with me. I am sick and in pain almost all the time. We unfortunately are behind on bills and are trying to catch up. If there is anyway anyone can help with a donation or just spreading the word, that would be beyond amazing. Thank you for your thoughts and positive vibes! If you’d like to know more, please feel free to message me. I will never be able to express the love I have received through so many incredible humans!
