Durst Family Harvey Flood Help Fund

We are the Durst family, Lauren, Jon, Ander, Eli, Logan, and Wyatt. We unfortunately are victims of hurricane Harvey. We recently purchased our first home, a beatiful 4 bedroom house (a place we all fit!). Right now that home is under 4 feet of water. All of our belongings on the first floor are ruined. Thank God we do have flood insurance and we will eventually recover!, but the process can't start until the adjuster can get into the house. This may takes weeks given our home's proximity to Addicks resevoir. We are struggling now. Our vehicle was also destroyed along with car seats and strollers for the babies. Replacing these items so that we can safely transport the kids (along with the disaster preparations ahead of the storm) have depleted our emergency fund and the purchase of the house depleted our savings. I know there are many people in worse situations, but we need help. The money you give will be used will be used to buy groceries, temporary housing, fuel/transportation and supplies needed to move forward and recover.  The overwhelming support we have already gotten from the community is heartwarming.
