Durant Senior Center

Tax deductible
For 11 years compassionate citizens of Durant have been actively working towards finding a new residence for the RSVP Senior Center. After exploring several options over the years, they have finally found the perfect location at 1421 Chuckwa Dr. (the old Church of Christ Building).

Together, the RSVP organization, the City of Durant, and generous citizens have worked together to raise over $300,000 towards the purchase of the new building. The building is perfect in every way, it has been recently remodeled, it is move-in ready, plenty of classrooms and meeting rooms, close proximity to hospitals and doctors’ offices, and the best part is, it is A.D.A accessible.

Why are we asking for your donations? We only have until April 30th to collect the rest of the funds to purchase the building before our opportunity to purchase expires. We also want the community to feel like they had a part in purchasing the building for our ever growing elder population.

We are not asking for large donations, anything you give will bring us closer to our goal. There are approximately 7700 households in Durant. If each household donated $15 we would reach our goal of $100,000 quickly and easily.

Please consider giving to this need in our community. Our seniors deserve this and more.

Thank you.

If you would like to make a large, tax deductible donation they can be made at First Texoma National Bank or Contact Gay Cunningham. RSVP is a 501C Organization.
