Dunnie's Road to Recovery

Everyone's buddy Dunnie was in a serious car accident last weekend.  He was hit by a drunk driver who lost control of their car, T-boned him, and has landed him in critical condition in the hospital.  He's broken all ribs on his left side, punctured his lung, broke his back in two places, broke his femur, his hip, his nose, and has had a couple major surgeries to keep him alive/send him on the road to recovery.  Unbelievably (unless you've seen the size of Kevin's head), his head/brain made it out of the accident unscathed. 

I asked Kevin's brother, Bryan, about starting a "Go Fund Me" page for him earlier in the week and he uncomfortably told me to hold off.  But after seeing Kevin the other night and having all of us friends waiting anxiously each morning for an update on how his night went, I decided to go for it.  They are a tough, selfless, kind family, who would do anything for anyone.  I think half the city of Quincy has been in the Donovan's pool and anytime you go over the Donovan's house, Mr. & Mrs. Donovan make sure you leave with a full belly and plenty of laughs.  They've taken care of and looked after us since we were kids, and now Kev is going to need some help.  If you can't offer anything, do not worry about it, prayers are more than appreciated.  They said I needed to set a goal, so I just put $5K.

Edit:  I can't believe how quickly we hit $5K!  I increased the goal in order to not dissuade anyone from helping out.  Between medical bills and time off from work, I don't know how much to set it at, but this is incredible!  He's lucky to have so many people who care about him!
