Duke's Knee Surgery

Our loyal friend and protector Duke had knee surgery yesterday for a ruptured ligament.  The team on Saltspring were amazing and expect a good recovery after a nice long rest and rehab.

We are grateful for any support our friends and family can offer to help pay for the cost of surgery as well as the transportation to his vet appointments.

We will be holding a fundraiser on Galiano on Sunday August 12 - "Dogs for Dogs"- so please join us for a hot dog and a drink but if you can't make it please feel free to contribute here, via e transfer to [email redacted] or you can donate via our local animal rescue organization and they will transfer 100% of the funds to us and give you a tax receipt!  they are at http://www.restqsanctuary.ca/
