Badly Needed Gastric Bypass

I'm 31 years old and suffering from many health problems. I've got fibromyalgia, constant neck pain, osteoarthritis, severe asthma, and 2 bad knees. Just this summer, I found out I had become diabetic as well due to my weight.

Over the last several, years, I was able to lose over 140 lbs. But because of my gluten intolerance and gluten stuck in my system, I am truly incapable of losing any more weight through diet or exercise. I've been told my only way of reversing the diabetes (and preventing calcium buildup in my hip that will cripple me within 2 years) is to get a gastric bypass - and soon. It would also help my other health problems and get my costant pain below a "7" for the first time in over a decade.

Our insurance won't cover the procedure and my husband is a schoolteacher, so we can barely afford to make ends meet as it is. We've turned everywhere and to everyone we can to try and find a way to pay for the procedure, but have come up flat.

We're not asking for the full amount of the surgery. We're just asking for enough that we can actually afford to shoulder the rest of the costs.
