Fundraising event in aid of ICRR Rathcoole Air Ambulance, Kanturk and Millstreet Community Hospitals and The Burren Chernobyl Project.
We are drawing to a close of our Duhallows Fittest fundraiser. The money raised has been incredible and the participation and donations has blown us away. Thank you all so much.
The money raised will make a big difference in the running of our chosen charities. Here is a quick summary of how the money will be spent by each:
Millstreet Community Hospital - the money raised will be used to purchase mobile phones, tablets to keep the residents in contact with their families. Residents enjoy day trips and much wanted equipment to enhance activities within the hospital will be purchased with your fund raising money.
Kanturk Community Hospital - The money raised will be used to help buy a wheelchair accessible bus to take the residents on outings.
ICRR Air Ambulance Rathcoole - The money raised will help bring the service back to a 7 day week and help fund life saving missions in the Munster Area.
Burren Chernobyl Project - money raised will be used to cover the cost of sending a 45ft container of PPE and other goods to Belarus. The goods will be distributed to eleven institutions for special needs children and adults.
