Mission India pt. 2

Dear Friends and Family,

I am so thankful for every opportunity The Lord has given me and so thankful for such an incredible support group that has allowed me to follow what He’s calling me to. The provision I have seen, through all of you, in the last few years has been monumental, and has been a huge testament to The Lord working in my life. So thank you!

Going to India completely changed my life. I have learned so much and have fallen in love with the people, the culture, and all the ministries I was able to be a part of. While in India I was living in a children’s home working with 9 beautiful babies that I was blessed to wake up to every morning, Muskan, Diya, Mountee, Jameer, Sameer, Rasheed, Anjali, Moyenal, and Sagar.

The second part of the ministry I was working with was in a local red light district called Khlapara. We established a 3 day a week children’s club that meets in a room we rented. There we taught anywhere from 15-60 children about Jesus and how he has a plan and a purpose for them. My team and I truly and wholeheartedly believe these children have the power to change their town. Through these children we have a gateway to their mothers. The women are hearing the gospel from their children and through the various ministries Samaria’s Hope has built there. The Lord is working and moving in Khalpara, turning a place of bondage and hopelessness into a town of freedom and hope.

Prayers are being answered and the ministry is growing. It was beautiful to see the Lord’s favor on this ministry and how much it grew in the 5 months I was there, and how it’s continued to grow in my absence.

I know The Lord has big plans for Samaria’s Hope, and I left with an open door policy as to when I can return. My heart now aches to return and once again be a part of what the Lord is doing in India; I’m planning an upcoming trip this December. I have about a month off from school before I finish my final semester and plan to spend that time loving on my babies and again coming alongside what the Lord is doing through Samaria’s Hope to reach the needs of these women and children living in Khalpara.

In order to make this plan a reality, I’ve estimated a need for about $2,500. The Lord has already provided immensely, as my church has given me the first $600 before I have even started the fundraising process. God is so good! Any additional money raised after my travel expenses are met, will go directly into the hands of the ministry to pour out into the already running projects in Siliguri and Khalpara. If you want to donate directly to the children’s home, or the various projects we have going on in Khalpara, please let me know and I will make sure funds are distributed accordingly!

Thank you so much for you love and support! Having these opportunities to walk in obedience to The Lord wouldn’t be possible without your prayers and support. I’m so blessed by each and every one of you.
