Living Expenses, Medical Bills

The Sandoval family is an amazing family who has overcome some amazing obstacles in the last year. Their daughter, Sawyer has a rare genetic disorder called VLCADD. This diagnosis means whenever she is sick, a hospital stay is often needed. This year Sawyer has had multiple hospital stays which have racked up some serious bills. If that wasn't enough, her special formula is not completely covered by insurance and is insanely expensive but a medical necessity. 

Although I haven't met Brittany in person, I have talked to her a lot and can tell you, she is one amazing person. She gives so much to others and expects nothing in return. She recently raised money for a little girl battling cancer, and shaved her head in support of her. She supports her family as a nurse but recently had to undergo emergency surgery to take out her appendix. Now she is unable to do heavy lifting (which is necessary for her job) and with no light-duty shifts available, they are stuck at the moment. 

Michael works as much as he can to help them in addition to caring for their daughter. However due to the large expense of medical bills they have incurred, it has been very difficult for them to catch up.
