DTES Alley Mural Project

Donation protected
Art is harm reduction for the artist as well as the people who experience the art!

Our DTES alley has seen the most overdose calls in Canada. We have lost so many friends and family members.

We are using these murals to give people a voice and to create something beautiful for the people by the people of the DTES Community.

We have support from the Vancouver Mural Festival, the City Of Vancouver, B.C. Housing, Hastings BIA and many other community groups.

We have all of the paint we need we just need some money to pay community artists and buy paint brushes. No money will be spent on admin.

Your support will help give people in the DTES a voice. Anything you can do to help including volunteer time would be wonderful. If you cant help pass this on to someone who can!

We are artists from the DTES the poorest postal code in Canada the Alley we are painting in on the 00 block of the DTES between Hastings and Pender and Columbia  and Cordova. Our alley has is in poor condition and we are doing what we can to brighten it up!
All funds will be spent on artist supplies,  paint and labour
We will take the funding out and give it straight to the artists this project is grassroots by the artists for the artists
We expect to the project to be complete by August 2019
