Help John Get His Truck Back!

Donation protected

A year ago, John's dream of starting a business to provide long term for his family came into being! He was so excited and happy to be able to start C.J.'s Country Grill, a family restaurant in Cambridge, Idaho. All the kids came and joined in. With a lot of hard work and elbow grease, within a month, they opened the doors and hit the ground running. The plan was for the family to run the restaurant while he continued in ministry. This was his gift to his kids to set them up with a business for their future. How else would John do it? Hard work and determination have always defined his work ethic. Over the years he has worked hard and helped so many people that it was a given that he would continue to do the same now. Well, after some issues when his "paying" job that was supposed to continue as his regular income ended, he joined the family as a crew member in hopes that the restaurant could provide for everyone. It worked! Things were going really well.
Then ...SNOWPOCALYPSE 2017! ..
Business slowed down to a trickle and he began to get stressed. The decision was made to temporarily close the restaurant until the snow began to go away. This would have been a good decision if things had only gone as planned. But the last week the restaurant was open, he had 2 strokes which affected his right side to the point that he couldn't walk, talk, sleep, work or drive. His recovery has been slow and he was granted disability without being denied, (everyone knows that rarely happens).
Here's where things got tough tho. He had NO income for 6 months and because of his physical condition, I can't work outside the home. My job is to take care of him. He falls frequently, has double vision and can't drive. He has multiple doctor's appointments each month and actually has two surgeries coming up in September.
So now you are wondering why I'm asking for help.
Because of the failure of the restaurant and the lack of income for so long, there are bills that have been put on hold. Most of the companies have been generous with their understanding. All of them actually. Except the State Tax Commission. They garnished his disability income (which isn't enough to actually live on in the first place), and the day before yesterday, they seized his only working vehicle because the garnishment wasn't happening fast enough. In order to get it back, he needs $4000.
He has done so much for so many people over the years, so I'm asking for all those who have said "let us know what we can do to help" to pitch in and help him get his truck back before September 19th. After that it will be auctioned off and he will not have any transportation.
Any amount you can give will help, it will all add up.
Thanks for reading this long-winded story and for helping John out with this emergency! Your help is deeply appreciated.
