Myra Cottrell's Medical Expenses

We are posting this for our sister/daughter/wife, Myra Cottrell, in an effort to raise money for the medical expenses of treating the Lyme Disease that has attacked her.  She was just diagnosed in January and referred to a Dr. in Wahington DC who has been in the forefront of treating patients with this tic born disease.  Her symptoms are neurological and very advanced including seizures, constant pain throughout her body and the loss of use of her left hand among other debilitating things.  Up until October of 2015 she taught 7th and 8th grade Biology in the Junction City school system.  We've been told her students miss her but we know probably not as much as she misses them.  The treatment includes high powered, multiple antibiotics over the course of 2-3 years.   She will be required to go to DC monthly for thefirst 3 months and then appointments will begin to space out a little more depending on her response to the medication.  The financial goal we have set will include only the cost of medications.  It does not include the cost of the IV port, office visits, or the cost of travel.  Insurance will pay nothing due to the fact the CDC says Lyme does not exist in Arkansas.  We as her family will do as much as we can but this is beyond our means.  If anyone is interested in Lyme Disease we invite you to watch the Documentary "Under Our Skin' and the sequel, "Under Our Skin 2-Emergence".  The main character has the exact symptoms as Myra only she was younger.  She even looks like Myra.  Our family is banding together to fight this.  Anything that can be contributed will be greatly appreciated including prayers.
