First of all, I want to thank every single person who's took a moment of their day to send their love to my family. This post is taking a tremendous amount of strength to write....
As many of you know, my mother passed around 1:30 this morning from fighting a constant battle of survival. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago and has experienced numerous ups and downs in her fight. At first the cancer was just in the breasts, but as we all know, it's a very aggressive and persistent Diesease. She went through many surgeries to remove the tumors, as well as chemo and radiation. During the last few stages of her life, the cancer spread to about 75% of her body. She fought for as long as she could but unfortunately the Diesease overcame her. I'm writing this post not to look for sympathy. I'm writing this post because this morning when my mother passed, she left behind 5 children. Myself: 24, my 3 younger brothers: 21, 17 & 10 and my younger sister: 21. My family is incredibly small, due to that my sister and myself now have to now be even more selfless than we could've ever imagined. We have to take the role in raising our 2 youngest brothers....
I am a very prideful person & very independent... But today, I swallow my pride and I ask for your help. My sister and I need to continue to make sure these two strong, brave little boys are sheltered, educated, fed and are not immediately uprooted from the life they've grown accustomed to. I only ask for $100 because you have to an "asking price" but we would be completely greatful and appreciate anything at all.
