Retail Alliance Downtown

Retail Alliance Downtown (RAD's) Mission Statement is “To promote, preserve and enhance the retail community in Downtown Greensboro (North Carolina)."

We formed in 2019 as small business owners who were already struggling with keeping the lights on and our employees paid. Insert a global pandemic and we're burdened even more, with several of our neighbors closing for good. Now on top of everything else, we're dealing with the recent struggle of shattered windows, destroyed merchandise and looting. We are finding ourselves utterly exhausted and broken. Some of our shops can't open our doors because all of our product has been stolen, some of our shops are trying to raise money to pay insurance deductibles and hoping that insurance will pay the rest,  some of us have already heard that insurance won't cover the damage and loss, and some of us didn't even have insurance.

Our community is reaching out and asking how to help us. Here's how you can help, donate! All funds donated through Retail Alliance Downtown will be used to help Downtown Retail Businesses. Thank you for your love and support. After this, there will still be much work to do. Keep shopping local, keep checking in, and keep telling all of your amazing friends to do the same.
