Lori's Breast Cancer Battle

Rob's step-mom, Lori Santillana, was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The doctors have decided she will need a double mastectomy followed by radiation. This diagnoses has come suddenly and as a surprise to her entire family.
In an effort to relieve them of some of the financial burden of this difficult time and show our love and support for Rob and his family, CFEO has decided to host a fundraiser in which we will all come together in honor of Lori and complete 1 burpee for every dollar raised that we can donate to her toward her fight!
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women. Each year it is estimated that over 252,710 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,500 will die; BUT, over 3.3 million breast cancer survivors are alive in the United States today and we are going to do what we can to support Lori on being in the latter of those statistics!
The event will take place on Friday night, June 21st at 7pm at CrossFit East Orange (11602 Lake Underhill Road Ste 135 Orlando, FL 32825)
No amount is too small and every donation, thought, kind word, prayer and extra body to help us complete these burpees is welcomed and appreciated!!!
