Fundraiser for Andrew (DRU) Garrity

Donation protected
Andrew Garrity was a dad, husband, son, brother and a beloved friend.

As most of you know Dru passed away unexpectedly from complications while having heart surgery. Dru left behind two little girls and a wonderful wife. For the last two years Dru's main focus was to get his family to the USA. He loved Thailand and it changed his life, but as he told me many times “I have to get them to the US, I want them to have the advantages and opportunities they won't have here.” He wanted a better life for them. He wanted his daughters to have access to a better education, he wanted them to have a chance at the American dream.

He accomplished his goal a few months ago. He got his family here to the US and settled in and tried his best to ensure a good future for him and his family. He said to me” bro they love it, I love my job, they're adjusting well. I’m so happy. “ As with any person you care for and love that's all you want to hear. “I’m Happy”.

As many know the best laid plans can quickly crumble. His untimely passing has left his wife a widow in a new country, a single mom facing a new culture, language barriers and unforeseen circumstances and obstacles all alone. I can't imagine the range of emotions, worries and difficult decisions his wife is currently facing. All the kind words of support, encouragement and love sent to his wife, family and all the people who loved Dru has been overwhelming and yet expected because Dru touched so many lives.

Dru was never scared of hard work, he was never in the music biz for the riches or glory. Like for his children he wanted the artist he worked with to have access and opportunities to do what they love. An avenue to pursue their dreams the way they wanted. To teach them how the game really worked. He passed on to many people priceless information and opportunities. We ask all of you to help continue his legacy through his daughters and wife. To help accomplish his hopes and dreams for his family and their future.

Dru helped build a community in Boston and never asked for anything in return. We hope that same community can help give back. Anything you can do to help is appreciated. We are asking all of you for your continued support. We need your help!

Anything you can give is appreciated.

We have a benefit fundraiser show February 18 @ 8 pm at The Middle East, Cambridge MA. Please come show  your support....

We are planning a memorial gathering on the 24 th of February.. We are trying to raise money to get his wife and children airfare and hotel here for that as well.

Please help ensure his vision, as well as his family's security, future, dreams and hopes of a life in America.

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Every bit will help...
