The Three-Year Retreat (Drubdra)

Drub Nyiy Döjö Gatsal is a Nyingma School of Vajrayana Buddhism Three-year retreat center (Drubdra) in the Dudjom Tersar Lineage. The center was founded by Lama Tharchin Rinpoche in 1992. The retreats have continued since then uninterruptedly. The current retreat will be completed in October 2019 and a new one will follow.
Lama Tharchin Rinpoche's Vision of the Three-Year Retreat:
In order to serve the Vajrayana teachings I would like to open the road to understanding Dharma in its entirety. Since I will be staying in America for a long time, I would like to provide an opportunity for those willing and able, to practice this path to completion. I hope some will be able to teach this doctrine themselves, thus preserving and advancing the Dharma in the west in its original, pristine form (1997).
Between the current and future drubdra, there have been many unforeseen circumstances that increased the expenses in maintaining and running the retreat. In order to be able to complete the current retreat and ensure the uninterrupted continuity, we ask for your support during this crucial time.
Lama Tharchin Rinpoche always emphasized the huge merit of supporting those who are inclined to practice intensively in a retreat. He said the practice and the support (of those outside of retreat) are intermixed like a drop of water in a vast ocean. He further said that due our tendency to have a material view, we think that the retreatants are practicing and we outside are not. However, we are all connected within the same mandala, supporters and supported alike…"
At this crucial time, please help us to ensure that this unique place of practice, one of the brightest beacon of Düdjom Tersar Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the west continues and never stops. Please consider any monetary support for the benefit of current and future generations.
