Drops of Hope: Winter Care Drive

As well all know, winters in the Greater Toronto Area can be very harsh. Each year,  thousands of Toronto's less fortunate residents must brave the bitter cold without proper food, water, and shelter. Many do not survive.

For the past 3 years, with the help of our wonderful friends and family, we have put together clean and hand-picked winter essentials packages to distribute to the homeless throughout the city, as well to registered Shelters and Community Care groups.

We strive to include the essentials for winter survival in each kit. While we do accept donated goods, we try and purchase all items brand new from such places as Dollarama, Walmart, and Alibaba.

With your donation, we will be able to purchase the following essentials for each kit**:

1x Duffle bag
1x Fleece blanket
1x Toque/Ski-mask
2x Pairs of knit gloves (or 1 pair heavy duty)
1x Scarf
2x Pairs of socks
1x Deoderant 
1x 40-pack Sanitary wipes
1x Personal First-aid kit
1x Chap-stick
2x Garbage bags
Dental hygiene products
Feminine hygiene products (for women)
1x Body/Hair soap
1x Water 
1x  $5 Tim Horton's gift card
Assorted snacks and quick-prep meals


Monetary donations of any amount are prefered.

Our goal is to deliver the packages starting on Christmas Eve and all the way through Winter.



We are also looking for volunteers to help us distribute these kits during the holidays, as well as through winter.
