Drop-In Center Sees Black Panther

#BLACKPANTHERCHALLENGE
I'm Rebecca Sidorow and I work at a Daytime Program for women experiencing homelessness in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Our mission is to end homelessness in the city of Chicago. We also work to help build community and quality of life for those who are currently experiencing and working to end their homelessness. For those who come to our center, surviving everyday is the priority. There is little time or resources for entertainment or enjoyment when the focus is survival. The movie Black Panther has brought excitement to communities across the nation. We want to be able to share this great film about empowerment with the women we serve. We also want to be able to provide an opportunity to have the common human experience of going to the movies. Our goal is to take 100 women experiencing homelessness to see Black Panther.

100% of these funds will go directly to movie tickets and bus tickets to be able to transport everyone to the theater.
