From Drop out to Graduate - Naomi Kabamba Uni Fund

Donation protected

Naomi Kabamba is a young, determined Zambian based in Kabwe, Zambia.

The first in her family of 11 (including Mum & Dad) to go to university!

She lost her mother at age 14. Life became difficult and Naomi was forced to stay with friends and good Samaritans.

Despite all this, Naomi’s determination saw her enrol at Mulungushi University on a Commerce With Education degree program.

To pay her own University fees, Naomi taught herself how to bake buns from YouTube tutorials. She then had a traditional charcoal oven built and bakes buns in this oven, every morning at 4am which she sells by midday.

Despite all her efforts to make ends meet, Naomi was forced to leave Mulungushi University, so close to the finish line, in the 3rd year, due to financial difficulties.

I found Naomi’s story compelling and inspiring and couldn’t help wanting to help her in some way.  She’s a real tryer, whose not prepared to give up on herself.

If you’ve been touched by Naomi’s story
, please join me in supporting her to achieve her dream of completing her university degree by  donating, big or small!
