Dear Friends of DROM, These are unprecedented times. We hope you are all healthy, staying indoors, and taking care of yourselves and each other. As you know, the ongoing spread of covid-19 has brought many businesses to a standstill. We had carefully curated a long list of culturally diverse shows for Spring, but had to cancel dozens of shows so as not to risk performers or patrons' health. With that said, our only incoming revenue - concessions and ticket sales - have disappeared and we are struggling to cover our expenses to stay afloat during this extended closure. Our hard working 30 or so full time, part time and independent staff, have been hit the hardest. They depend on individual shows and working on-site. This includes - Bartenders - Security - Lighting and sound engineers - Cleaning staff - Kitchen staff, - Box office personnel and many more ...
