Please Help our Beloved Cozmo!

As many you of may know, our beloved family dog, Cozmo, was rushed to Cornell University Hospital for Animals in the early hours of the morning Sunday November 22nd. This precious wolf-sized boy is everything to our family. When I heard what happened to Cozmo, I was absolutely heartbroken for my girls as I know they would be devastated to lose him! As it turns out, Cozmo suffered from Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus (GDV), or a flipped stomach, which is commonly fatal in dogs. Thank god, my sister-in-law, Emily, had the sense to google it and get him the care he needed as fast as she could, because she saved our boy! Fortunately, the surgery went extremely well and Cozmo is on the mend! Unfortunately, an emergency surgery comes with quite the bill (topping out at $6k) and it couldn't come at a worse time. With the holidays right around the corner, I know that they are really feeling that financial blow in a rough way right now. They are not the type to ask for help or hand-outs and I know they might be embarrassed that I'm doing this, but if you could please find it in your heart to help them out in any way you can, I know that they will be eternally grateful for any possible financial relief from this procedure! I know this is a difficult time for all, but what are the holidays really about, if not for giving to those in need? Thank you for your time and for even the smallest donation.
