Driving Towards A Book-Mobile!

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit HOOPS ON MISSION, and any donation will help make an impact. Hoops on Mission is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that exists to empower and inspire our youth in SWFL to become world changers. Hoops on Mission is working to change Lee County’s statistics, one child at a time, as they service a significant population of economically challenged families and youth. They are committed to serving youth from all ethnic and racial backgrounds as they strive to promote cultural diversity and inclusion. With a hyperfocus on those facing familial, social, and economic risk factors, they provide guidance and acceptance in the form of “father-figures” and role models, providing these youth the same opportunities afforded to those with present parental and fatherly guidance. With the funding to start a Book-Mobile, Hoops on Mission will have the ability to motivate and inspire students in Lee County to make academic gains in literacy, as the majority of the population they serve is below grade level both in reading and writing. Hoops on Mission sees the importance of academics in a child's future, and wants to take their mission a step further, supporting teachers and parents on their path to enhance education and engagement.
