Driving Larry
Donation protected
Colleagues, you likely know that Larry was quite ill in January and then was diagnosed with cancer. Now in daily treatment, he has elected to continue working - a benefit to us - but at a financial disadvantage to himself.
I have Larry's OK and deep appreciation to share the story: Larry is not allowed to drive while taking some heavy-duty medications, so he pays for Uber to drive him to and from the daily cancer treatments, to the office, etc. That's a cost of about $30 USD a day.
Larry is optimistic that he will be off the meds and able to drive again later in April.
Our part? Let's help pay for the Uber transportation costs.
Larry has already paid about $900 just for Uber. Major medical costs have already been incurred and will continue for several more months.
Any donation you contribute will help.
Hitting the Goal:
Our Leaders have promised that we will hit the goal. Today Larry big-heartedly stated that for any overage, he / we will donate to a charitable cause that can help others in need.
