Help Me - Drive Change Around The World

Hi, my name is Elizabeth.

I am raising money by committing to swim ... A MARATHON IN 5 WEEKS ... for the cause of helping me learn how to drive positive change around the world through a placement in UWC Tanzania for 2 years.

After a year of applications and interviews, I have been very lucky to have been nominated by the UWC Great British National Committee for one of the 4 places at UWC in East Africa.

What is UWC? United World Colleges (UWC) is a global movement that makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Their mission is to inspire young people to put their talents and energy into driving change around the world.

I am reaching out to you to ask for help to send me there and make this dream come true.

This is a life changing experience, living with people from different countries, different social, cultural and economic backgrounds, for 2 years. A group of young people from all over the world inspiring each other to drive positive change.

This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

To help afford this, I am seeking sponsorship to swim a marathon in 5 weeks. That's 42,195 metres, or 26.219 miles, or 1,688 laps of my local 25 metre swimming pool!
