Driveway of Disaster

We are in desperate need of someone to grade and put roadbond/gravel on our "driveway." It's very steep and right now is gutted by all the rain and by cars trying to go up and down. Nicky has to take my brother and our roommate to and from work,sometimes walking up and down the driveway four times a day. (My brother's car is in the shop right now.) She has to use a cane to walk and this is really wearing on her physically and emotionally.


I cannot walk up or down the drive way at all, so I am trapped in our house until we can get the driveway repaired. We are short on money, since I have had to pay over $2,000.00 in repairs to our well and heat/ac unit in the last few months. I get very little help from anyone, because Nicky is on disability and has very little money.

I have found someone who can do a temporary fix so I can get out of the house and a more permanent job in a few weeks. The cost will be around $2000.00 for concrete and labor. Right now, I have no money until my social security and pension checks come in - and they cover not much more than living expenses. Nicky and I are both stressed to the point of hair trigger tempers and increased depression.

Please help if you can. I don't know what I would do without people like you. Thanks for anything you can do.

I can't begin to stress how difficult this is for us. I don't like to beg for money, and I have used GoFundMe twice before and I feel awkward using it again for something that's not catastrophic.  But I do need help. Nicky and I are both in our 60s and not in good health. I don't know what we will do unless we can get our driveway repaired soon.
