My Name is Michelle DeBlauwe i am 42  My Husband is James Deblauwe he just turned  38 may 12  and he died a hero on 06/04/2020 in Midland Michigan  1 day after he got  his 90 days and a $1 raise Saving 3 young children and there mother from a runaway bulldozer he was thrown off and he got rite up an  ran like superman to jump on the machine to try to stop it he was then thrown off a second time agen he got rite up an ran and jumped on the runaway bulldozer to try to stop it for the second time then he  got thrown off for the third time so agen  he got  up and ran to jump on it for the third and final  time  stopping it with his life just feet away from the 3 children and mother just in time to save them and for them to watch him lose his life to save theirs James has always been my Hero we have been married 18 yrs been together 19ys life has never been easy for us he worked hard considering we have 5 children and 1 granddaughter 3 of our children have  autism  an the other 2 are special  needs also so i was always a stay at home mom he worked for both of us so that i could take the best care of our children a lot of times it was like 6 or 7 doctors appointments a week our children Allen 22yrs  in may  Brandon just turned 18yrs march 12 and is going to graduate high school  July 19th    Tyler is gonna be 17yrs July 21 Ethan is gonna be 8 yrs DEC 10th and Lillian our daughter is going to be 4yrs old dec 11 and then we have our granddaughter Alice who is gonna be 2yrs dec 31 we all are heart broken my husband worked so hard that he barley took a day off unless he was really sick 19 yrs and he never had a vacation never stooped trying to make our life better because with 5 kids its not cheep and we could never save a dime cuz every time we would start to get ahead something in or on the house or car would break or another huge bill but he found a way to make it work so now i am alone with out my husband my best friend my lover my rock my every thing this man was so amazing that we only knew each other 1 month and 1/2 in july 2001 when we got pregnant with our first son Brandon  James was 18yrs i was 23yrs old we did have choices and he said to me lets try to make this work July 2001 i said ok we then got married 12/17/2002 and well he never stooped trying and now our house payments are 3 months behind electric and gas car payments  auto insurance  everything is falling apart my life my children food stamps dont buy diapers or pay the bills and with covid19 i feel like its all hopeless i cant have my husband and my kids cant have there dad hes missing out on so much we are so proud of is heroic actions and we know hes a hero but we are still so deeply sadden with the grief of his loss i still wait for him to come home from work and just smile at me he was always willing  to help someone in need even when we did not have the means he would give someone in need his last$20 or the shirt off his back he even opened our home to teenagers having a hard time with there parents or with no home or really any problem as long as he felt like they were trying to get it together he was always trying to save someone i tell my children that we have to honor  him they have to remember how to be like dad loving giving caring heroic  not to be afraid to jump and save a life im just so lost i dont know how i can make any of this work with out him i only have 2 arms to wrap around our 5 kids my only helper died my only relief after he gets home to get 5 mins  away from kids we could not afford life insurance we could not even afford cable in the last year  so here i am desperate for help to try and save our home pay bills  so we dont have to move out of our home theirs so meany things that alone his death cost i just dont want any of this to be real James could drive almost anything that moved he loved to drive his truck heavy equipment lawnmowers plow trucks dump trucks every thing really so the kids and i decided to name the fund DRIVE IT LIKE JAMES  we  would also like to put a memorial were he passed THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME TELL YOU ABOUT OUR LOSS OUR STORY 
PS PLEASE HELP ME GET THE WORD OUT THAT MY HUSBAND JAMES DEBLAUWE WAS / IS A HERO THE KIDS AND I BELIEVE THE HOLE WORLD SHOULD KNOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE NEWS EVERY WERE IN MICHIGAN AND THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ OUR LOSS OUR STORY PLEASE HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND STAY SAFE FROM COVID19 AND EVRTHING ELS TOO
