<div>Die Rettungshundestaffel Villingen-Schwenningen steht 24/7 ehrenamtlich und unentgeltlich zur Verfügung für die Suche nach Vermissten Personen, die abgängig sind, z. B. aufgrund von Demenz, Suizidankündigung oder sich anderweitig in hilfloser Lage befinden. Bei Bedarf werden wir durch die Polizei über die integrierte Leitstelle des Schwarzwald-Baar Kreises angefordert - Die Einsatzfähigkeit unserer Hunde-Teams wird nach einer ca. 2-jährigen Ausbildung durch eine Prüfung bestätigt, die alle 2 Jahre wiederholt werden muss. Unser Einsatzgebiet ist der gesamte Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis, außerdem werden wir bei Bedarf zur Unterstützung von benachbarten Landkreisen angefordert.

<div>Um auch weiterhin schnellstmöglich unsere Einsatzgebiete anfahren zu können, brauchen wir dringend ein neues Einsatzfahrzeug mit entsprechender Ausstattung für unsere Anforderungen, z. B. Hundeboxen und Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten für das umfangreiche Einsatzequipment. Unser derzeitiger Rettungshundebus ist mittlerweile leider so alt und defekt, dass eine Reparatur nicht mehr tragbar ist., da sie den Wert des Fahrzeugs deutlich übersteigen. Ebenso entspricht die technische Ausstattung nicht mehr dem heutigen Anforderungen.
