DRILL A WATER WELL FOR MY FAMILY AND NEIGHBORHOOD

Donation protected

There is an old African proverb that says, “Dig a well today to quench the thirst of tomorrow." For twelve years now I have been looking to provide water well for my family and my farm surrounding communities and I think your help would be invaluable in this project.

Before moving to the United States for medical treatment, I was working on the family farm in a village where there is only one human powered hand drill that serves water to the whole village. Life becomes hell during the dry season because the rainwater reservoir is empty. Struggling daily to fetch water for the family and to quench the thirst for animals pushed my brother and I to try to dig a well. Unfortunately, after digging almost 23 feet, we discovered a very big rock that blocked the well. After several attempts to perforate the rock, we gave up the well project. Aware of the necessity of having a source of water in a farm, I resolved this year to take up the challenge of the well drilling project.

I was advised to use a well drilling contractor, the only way to overcome the resistance of the rock when drilling a well. That is why I am reaching out to you, my friends and supporters for help. Your contribution ($12,000) will help to pay for well pump installation labor, solar well pump kit, and other water well drilling accessories.

Your support means a lot to me, and my people would be incredibly grateful for your offering.
