<div>Ik ben Monique en mijn vriendin Jolijn haar paard Djuna (7) heeft een zwaar ongeluk gehad. Wat een heel mooi avontuur zou worden, is geëindigd in een drama… Jolijn heeft haar paard vanuit Groningen net over de grens van België gebracht voor een dekking van een zorgvuldig uitgekozen hengst. De eerste poging gaf geen dracht dus ze moest nog wat langer blijven en ineens was daar het telefoontje: Djuna heeft in een voerruif voor ronde balen vastgezeten. <em>“Ze is inmiddels bevrijd uit haar positie maar erg gewond; we hebben jou toestemming nodig om haar in te slapen”</em>. Dat is wel het laatste wat je verwacht!!

<div>Toestemming voor dat spuitje heeft Jolijn niet gegeven. Djuna was ondanks de verwondingen en door de sedatie heen opgestaan toen ze eenmaal bevrijd was én ze liet levenslust zien. Ze is naar een kliniek gebracht voor onderzoek. Daar is vastgesteld dat haar bovenkaak twee- en onderkaak één keer gebroken is. Ook heeft ze een wond op haar achterbeen, dit is enkel een wond geen breuk! Jolijn heeft besloten Djuna een kans te geven, er is een team van specialisten samengesteld en de de kaak operatie (van meer dan 7 uren!) heeft inmiddels plaatsgevonden.

<div>Djuna, Jolijn en de medewerkers van de kliniek doen alles wat zij kunnen. De komende dagen zijn cruciaal, er is nog steeds een kans dat Djuna het niet red.

<div>Ik en andere mensen met mij kunnen het alleen maar aanhoren en nagenoeg niets betekenen voor Jolijn &amp; Djuna. Mijn bedoeling met deze actie is om Jolijn een hart onder de riem te steken. De rekeningen zijn torenhoog. Ik weet dat Jolijn dit ook zonder onze hulp doet voor Djuna, want dat doet ze nu al: maar met onze hulp wordt het hopelijk net wat dragelijker!!❤️‍
