Dress for Empowerment

Here is the story of Tami McWhorter;

She is a courageous and supportive mother of two, her whole life has been dedicated to raising and caring for my brother and I. Tami has been a stay at home mom most of her life, from helping care for her two younger sisters, to her own children. As does any young woman, Tami had to give up her dreams and aspirations in order to properly and wholeheartedly support her growing family. There is no woman or mother more deserving of a 'Dream Come True'. To others a dream come true could mean many things, but my mothers dream is to use her love for art to empower not only women around the world but anyone who has the will to listen. Empowerment through art and clothing is her dream, and she's finally one step closer to everything she could ever imagine. I'm asking for help to give a woman who has given her all to get the chance to let her dreams become a reality.  My mother has recently been awarded the opportunity to be apart of something grand! That something, is a fashion show dedicated to women empowerment. She would have the opportunity to showcase her outstanding and beautifully mastered clothing designs, as well as see them come to life as they strut the runway, giving hope and courage to all those watching. There will also be a booth where bystanders can come and browse the collection and purchase those that they enjoy. Tami is working on broadening her collection through working with various printing companies and manufactures, where the price tag keeps rising, and with only one provider in our household, its putting a halt to her reality, which is where my outreach for help comes in. My mother needs $2500 for her merchandise, and $4600 for the complete offerings of this once in a lifetime opportunity of the fashion show.  Her goal is $5000 which is the bare minimum to give her the push with this event! It has been a long and hard road for her. With the fashion show taking place at the end of January 2020, we are pressed for time, when it comes to trying to make this event happen for my mother. My mother is never one to ask for anything but always one to give a helping hand to others. With that said I would greatly appreciate any amount of donation you could contribute to this cause, its all for her! Knowing that you would be making her dream come true, which would mean the whole world to her!
