As a high school grad and amateur writer, I want to do something meaningful to commemorate this unprecedented year. I challenge myself to write an 1800-word story every day for 27 days. I had been collecting my dreams for months and will base each creation on one real dream I had, which I will present with authenticity and originality. To support me through this challenge, you can donate any amount to this account. All money donated will be directly transferred through gofundme to CanadaHelps Covid-19 HealthCare & Hospital Fund, an initiative by CanadaHelps.org to fund personal protective equipment (PPE) for Canadian health care workers.
While COVID-19 confines us at home, our health care workers are fighting on the front line for Canadians’ lives. They are being exposed to the virus constantly and are at a much higher risk of being infected, just so we can be safe. Health care workers need PPE, and together we can contribute to their safety.
This means a lot to me, as well as to all health workers benefited by this initiative. I thank you in advance for your benevolence.
