We are Christine Te and Michelle Ohajekwe, two low-income and first-generation students, and passionate, dedicated, and high-achieving debaters! Although both of us would love to attend the Emory Debate Summer Institute, financial costs are a barrier in the way. Thus, this fundraiser is dedicated to alleviating the pricy costs of debate camp. We humbly request for your help. Us rising seniors are ambitious and determined to succeed and further our debate careers, and our very LAST year of high school debate. With your help, we could fly to Georgia, become incredibly educated, and empower ourselves with our new knowledge and skills, not just in the debate world, but in YOUR world, as future lawyers, doctors, and more.
