Dreams of Teaching Shattered!

After graduating with honors in Psychology my daughter chose a position with a women's resource center counseling women and children who were fleeing abusive homes.  Part of fulfilling her career was to have practical teaching experience and she was recently recruited to teach English to children in South Korea.

She donated many of her possessions to charity just before she left her home town. She was to fly out Sunday, May 20, 2017 from YVR and went the night before to make sure she made her flight.

In the wee hours of the morning, the vehicle she had traveled in was broken into and her possessions were stolen. Not only clothing was stolen but her money, plane ticket,  passport, Korean work Visa, laptop (containing all her lesson plans), everything she had packed to live for the year is just gone...

She is determined to try and continue this journey even though everything has been stolen from her. I am trying to raise funds for my daughter so that she can replace her stolen items as well as the cost of the savings she had for the first month of her new life in Korea.

I am appealing to you to help fund Erika as she needs the money as soon as possible.
