Amira just started her ninth grade year at Auburn Adventist Academy and was recently elected class president! She grew up in Northgate and we decided to send her to her soon to be step-father's (Alex) high school to immerse her in a better lifestyle from public school.
This educational choice also allows her to go on educational trips each year during spring break. Auburn Adventist Academy offers guided groups through a travel organization specializing in providing students with high-quality discounted trips. The price is great, but we're strapped for cash to say the least. Alex works full-time and attends North Seattle College. He plans to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.
The school, family, and many churches have put together funds just for her to attend courses, but this trip is an outside cost, and we are absolutely dedicated to her seeing the world, and not just King County in Washington State. She deserves more. We intend to give her that and we're humbly asking for each and every one of you to make that dream possible, to give her the life that any one of us would want to have.
We want her to be exposed to new places, ideas, languages, and cultural aspects. She needs to know how much more rich this world is than North Seattle. As a family we have been blessed over the last fourteen years to have four kids, but living in the Seattle area is, however, expensive to say the least.
In closing, if so inclined to aid us, we would be undeniably honored and blessed to have you join us in this effort. Zahira (Amira's mother) and Alex cover many costs, but this is just out of our reach in terms of feasibility. Please help us make a difference in the life of Class President Amira Hill!
