Hello my name is Jazmine Cox and I am the founder of DreamCatchers WorldWide UK. Born and raised in South London, my aim is simple.

Help our local vulnerable communities where the government fall short by providing grassroots community services with local teachers and facilitators who are passionate about improving the quality of life for local residents particularly senior citizens, young children, those whose first language isn't English and teens.

I am raising funds to provide community services including:

Technology Classes for senior citizens - to encourage and explain how to use their devices to make their lives easier

Stretch and Flex (Yoga) Classes - to encourage and promote a healthy and active lifestyle with beginner friendly movements and exercises that can be developed to build on ability level

Disco Dance Classes - to encourage and promote a healthy and active lifestyle whilst listening to music nostalgic to sounds relevant for the guest e.g. 60s/70s/80s music

Hip Hop Dance Classes - holistic based dance classes with award winning teachers but with a community focus so students from all backgrounds and income can attend

Homework Hubs - safe spaces for students to practise and complete homework or school projects, with a qualified educator available to assist with enquiries

Financial Literacy - safe spaces for people to ask questions and advice about where to get professional assistance

This cause is important to me because as a qualified teacher, I see how we can do more to help our community, especially our young people where so many facilities have been taken away e.g. youth clubs, libraries. Ageing has taught and shown me so many areas in life that we need to give more energy to, and supporting our seniors is just one of them e.g. technology classes, stretch and flex classes.

The funds will be used to pay for venue hire, teachers and facilitators, materials and marketing so that it reaches the people who actually need it.
