<div>Er is door de vakspecialisten Frank Kuntzelaers en Leon Clabbers (en door vele andere betrokkenen) in de afgelopen maanden veel (voor) werk verricht en de laatste puntjes worden nog op de "i" gezet, maar dan is het zover........en dat allemaal mede dankzij uw financiële steun!!

<div><strong>Met bijzonder veel genoegen nodigt de Heemkundige Kring Tegelen u uit om aanwezig te zijn bij de opening en onthulling van de vernieuwde historische deur in de kloostertuin in Steyl.</strong>

<div><strong>De opening vindt plaats op</strong>

<div><strong><em>zaterdag 28 juni a.s. om 12:00 uur</em> bij de schuur in de kloostertuin van het Missiehuis St. Michaël (Roberts Kruidentuin)</strong>
</div>

<div><strong>In dit feestelijke jaar waarin de paters van de SVD in Steyl hun 150-jarig bestaan vieren, is dit één van de vele festiviteiten. De historische deur uit circa 1890 in de voormalige hooischuur verkeerde in een zeer slechte staat. Op oorspronkelijke manier is eenzelfde nieuwe deur vervaardigd door twee plaatselijke vakmannen. Voor het houtsnijwerk de heer Frank Kuntzelaers en het lijstenwerk de heer Leon Clabbers.</strong>

<div><strong>Het project werd gefinancierd met onder meer crowdfunding en bijdragen van de Stichting Steyl Inspireert, Rabobank Venlo en de gemeente Venlo. Dit initiatief, vanuit het hart en vakmanschap voor het ambacht houtsnijwerk, past bij de groei en bloei van de congregatie, waarbij alle werkzaamheden door de paters zelf werden uitgevoerd.</strong>

<div><strong>Het is dan ook zeer bijzonder om in dit feestelijke jaar op deze dag aan iedereen te laten zien dat de kennis en het vakmanschap uit de tijd van Arnold Janssen, nog steeds aanwezig zijn.</strong>

<div><strong>De openingshandeling wordt verricht door gedeputeerde cultuur en erfgoed Jasper Kuntzelaers.</strong>
