URGENT UPDATE - AS of the 2nd of July my Website and Blog will be deactivated as I cannot afford to renew the membership fees. This is my main platform to try and raise as much money as I can to attend the Mental Health First Aid.
I am reaching out as I am struggling immensely and cannot afford to pay the $250 required to keep my website and candle store running. I would sincerely appreciate any help at all in order for me to be able to pay this and keep my blog and store going. I realise this is a lot to ask, but my blog is my main passion and way to reach people and I would be devastated to see it deactivated.

I have recently started guest speaking about my journey with Mental Illness, most recently I spoke about suicide prevention at an event through Mental Health First Aid. In order for me to be able to run these events myself and attend as many organisations and schools, I need to become accredited.
As I am on Centrelink, there is no way of me affording the course. The great thing is that once I am accredited, I can earn back the money to reinvest in my on-going education towards being a Mental Health Advocate.
After moving from Sydney I live in an area that is incredibly underresourced for Mental Health. The suicide rate is extremely high and it is because people simply cannot access the services they need.
If successful with my fundraising I will be able to attend and complete the full 5-day course in Sydney. After this, I am accredited and have all the available resources from Mental Health First Aid to run my own courses and sessions in an area that is in desperate need of any Mental Health Resources.
I am extremely passionate about this for many reasons. I have attempted suicide myself in the past and have lived with Mental Illness all my life. I am incredibly committed to helping others access the help they need to have a happy and healthy life.
The course runs throughout the year so I am hoping to attend it once I have been able to raise the funds to do so.
