This fund is being setup to establish education monies for Dr Kim's three children.
Dr. Moonjohn Kim, 52, of Elliott City, Maryland was killed in a tragic motor vehicle accident July 5, 2017 on NYS Rte 81N.
Dr. Kim was born April 27, 1965 in Seoul, Korea the son of Dong and Kyung Ahn Kim. He was educated at Hahnemann (Drexel) University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in General Surgery and Diagnostic Radiology at the University to Illinois at Chicago and a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Rush-Presbyterian- St. Luke's' Medical Center in Chicago. He was Board Certified with the American College of Radiology with certification in Vascular & Interventional Radiology. He joined the Staff at Samaritan Medical Center in 2011.
He married Clara Kim on May 26, 2002 in Maryland.
He is survived by his wife Clara along with a son Jonathan and daughters Julianne and Johanna of Elliott City, Maryland. His parents are Dong and Kyung Kim of Silver Springs Maryland. He also has a brother Moon Kim and a sister Grace Kim also of Silver Springs, Maryland.
