Dr bills for foot Ulcer

Hi my name is Tammy and I'm full of complete and utter embarrassment right now ! I have tried everything and I Mean Everything The Wound care Dr that has been treating Al's left foot for 9 months has been allowing our part of the bill pile up. This was very kind of him. Our part of the bill to treat the Foot Ulcer on the bottom of Al's foot is a 11250.00 dollars. The billing department has told us that in order for the Dr to continue treatment they NEED 20% of the balance owed which is 2250.00 dollars. We have 240.00 dollars. We Need 2010.00 dollars and have drained ALL options. We've tried to get a personal loan using our vehicle as collateral, we've tried to get a home equity loan, we tried refinancing our home, we've tried to get a fifth credit card ALL to no avail. Yes we've talked to the Doctor himself, he said it's not about him now it's about the Wound care center and staff. He apologized, he fills so bad for us. We are so close to having this foot ulcer healed, if we stop now it will get bigger, 90% probability of getting infected and his foot amputated and Al could get a blood infection, if that happens he will die. PLEASE HELP My Husband ? He's all I have as for immediate family. Please I can't lose him This is so embarrassing!!! But we Never asked for this.
